Missions Trip to Romania 2006

In March 2006, 37 Verity students from the Class of 2006 traveled to Romania for a three-week-long missions trip. Our experience can be summed up in word—being.

While we had prepared ourselves to give to the people and work laboriously, we ended up developing relationships and making contacts rather than actually “doing” anything much.

Our group was treated as royalty during the whole trip. As an American delegation, we conversed with students in schools, toured Romanian sites, and represented our country and IBLP in meetings with government officials. The trip was life-changing for each of us who went.

Throughout the trip, we updated a blog regularly to keep our family and friends back home informed on what we were doing and how they could pray for us. The posts are archived on xanga.com/VerityRomania06.

“Come and See” became our motto during the trip, since we rarely knew what we’d be doing next.
