Communications

“For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.” I Corinthians 14:33

Mistakes may occur, relationships dissolve, and wars begin due to miscommunication. Christians must endeavor to skillfully convey ideas. One who can make ideas understood is invaluable to others. At Verity, our goal is to assist students in becoming competent thinkers, writers, and speakers through practical coursework assignments and internship experiences.

The Communications program introduces students to many different avenues through which they may influence others: mass media, interpersonal relationships, public relations, news reporting, public speaking, technical writing, and more. Through these studies, many students identify the specific occupation to which they are called.
